Mary Elizabeth Barrow

Mary Elizabeth Barrow, 65, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018, in Harbor Health Care.
She was born April 20, 1953, in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late John and Mary Gearheart Barrow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Byron Barrow in 2003; brother, Raymond Barrow; and sisters, Alexzine Foley in 1989, Loretta Barrow in 1992, Marmetta Barrow in 2016 and Beverly Edwards in 2017.
Mary was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and retired from American Electric Power after many years of service.
Survivors include a grandson, Cameron Barrow of Ashland; sister, Anyetta Johnson of Ashland; brother, Wilson Barrow of Ashland; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel.
