Melvin Douglas Miller

Melvin Douglas Miller left this earth on October 5, 2019 to be united with the Miller’s that have gone before him.

Melvin was born July 27, 1944 and the son of the late Carl Merideth Miller of Lexington, Kentucky, and the late Jane Shearer Miller of Lexington, Kentucky.

Melvin is survived by his Brother Richard “Dick” Miller of Ocala Florida and Fred “Freddie” Miller of Arizona. Melvin leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Melvin leaves behind his oldest son, Doug Mcentyre Miller of St. Augustine Florida, Scott Miller of Morehead, Kentucky, Marshall Miller of Rineyville, Kentucky, Shane Miller of Ashland, Kentucky, and Kimberly Miller of Ashland, Kentucky. Melvin leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Melvin was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Navy from 1965 to 1967. He was a Carpenter by trade and loved playing the guitar, and was of the Christian faith. Melvin was an inactive 32nd Degree Mason from Lodge #1 in Lexington, Kentucky.

A private service will be held at a later date.
