Michael W. Moore II

Michael W. Moore, II, 47, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019, at his residence.
He was born March 15, 1972, in Ashland, a son of the late Michael W. and Marilyn Moore.
“Mikey” was a 1990 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and was a graduate of Morehead State University. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and the Huddle House and Johnson County Jeep Club. He enjoyed being outdoors and off road recreation. He was involved with many theatre productions in Ashland, as well as California and around the country. He was currently working as a supervisor with EXPRO in Greenup County, Kentucky.
Survivors include two beloved daughters, Ashton Michelle Moore and Madison Dawn Moore; of Printer, KY; brother, Howard Turner and wife, Linda of Ashland; niece, Chelsea Turner of Ashland; nephew, Christian Turner of Ashland; and a host of loving extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel with Pastor Robert Lockhart officiating. Entombment will follow in Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday, with services beginning at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Clinton Moore officiating.
