Nada Jean Connor

Nada Jean Connor, 73, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Nada was born December 16, 1945 in Ashland, a daughter of the late Harold and Ethel Opal Dunlap Swimm. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers William Swimm and Steven Swimm.
She was a former member of the ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles and Moose lodges in Ashland. She was an Avon Representative for 40 years and a loving homemaker. She was an amazing mom, grandmother and dear friend to many. She will be deeply missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son Thomas Connor and wife Ronda of Ashland, brother Jerry Swimm and wife Cheri of Ashland, grandchildren Katelyn (William) Clay of Conway, SC, Andrew Connor of Ashland, Noah Connor of Ashland, sister-in-law whom she helped raise Betty (Ronald) Jackson of Ashland, special friend Linda Belford and several nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Friday, March 29, 2019 at the Steen Funeral Home, 13th Chapel by Pastor Ken Gowin. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 11am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
