Nola Belle Lemaster, 81, of Winchester, formerly of Ashland, passed away Tuesday Morning, October 6, 2020 at her residence. Nola was born August 13, 1939 in Paintsville, KY, a daughter of the late Phillip and Amanda Franklin Ward. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Gary Blucher Lemaster.
Nola was raised in Johnson County and graduated from Paintsville High School. She and Gary moved to Ashland where Gary found work at Armco’s Semet Solvay Plant. They together raised a family here. She was a member of the Grace Church of the Nazarene and a Kentucky Colonel. She later worked in the cafeteria at Paul G. Blazer High School for many years.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons Gary “Tony” Lemaster and wife Vicki of Winchester, KY, Robert Lemaster and wife Shelly of Ashland, her daughter Tonya Lemaster of Winchester, her grandchildren Emma Renee (T.J.) Campbell, Benjamin Austin Lemaster, Harley Blu Lemaster, Audrey Grace Holley, William Conner Lemaster, a great granddaughter Mia Holley, several half-brothers and sisters, her church family and many close friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Friday, October 9, 2020 at the Grace Church of the Nazarene by Pastor James Webster. Burial will be in the Keaton Community Cemetery in Johnson County.
Visitation will be held prior to services from 12:00 Noon till service time at the church.
