Palestine Moore Horn

Palestine Moore Horn, 88, of Flatwoods, formerly of Prestonsburg, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Mrs. Horn was born April 10, 1933 in McDowell, KY, (Floyd County), a daughter of the late John Moore and Rilda Lambert Moore Mosley.
Mrs. Horn was an Assistant Manager of the Food City Grocery in Prestonsburg for many years. She was a member of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky, Order of the Eastern Star, Adah Chapter #24, Prestonsburg, KY. She was also a member of the Bridges Christian Church in Russell.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 69 years, Thomas E. Horn, her daughter Deanna Robinson and husband Michael of Ashland, a sister Delma Hambrick of Waverly, OH, and her granddaughter she adored Kathryn Anne Robinson of Cincinnati, OH.
A private memorial service will be held Wednesday at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County, KY.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Steen Funeral Home, Central Avenue Chapel, Ashland, KY.
