Pauline Juanita Crye

Pauline Crye, 93, of Cannonsburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, while surrounded by her family, at the Community Hospice Care Center.
She was born March 10, 1928 in Shobonier, Illinois, to the late Joseph and Lula Thieman Schmitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Gene Crye; a son, Jack Crye; son in law, Tim Williams; and siblings, Pearl Leininger, Ruth Schmitt, Joseph Schmitt, Jr., Freida Schmitt, John Schmitt, Claude Schmitt, William Schmitt, Fred Schmitt, Wayne Schmitt and Mildred Schmitt.
Pauline was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She had previously worked at Mays Donuts and Joann Fabrics. A devoted mother, and grandmother, Pauline loved being surrounded by her family. She was a former Girl Scout Leader and was an avid seamstress. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Curtis Crye (Sharon) of Catlettsburg; daughters, Vicki Conley (Charles) of Ashland, Kathy King (John) of Buxton, NC, Connie Crye of Ft. Myers, FL; Paula Williams of Waverly, OH, and Bobbie Jo Vannatter (Stacy) of Columbus, OH; 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2021 at STEEN FUNERAL HOME 13TH STREET CHAPEL. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
