Phyllis Ann Mays, 84, of Ashland, died peacefully, Saturday, May 30, 2020.
She was born August 21, 1935, in Ashland, Kentucky, a daughter of the late John Andrew Greene and Rose Belle Smith Greene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Devon Lewis Mays; brothers, John G. Greene, Ernest O. Greene and Jack R. Stambaugh; sisters, Sophia E. Greene, Veronica R. Burnette and Emma Lee Hicks; and a son in law, Bill Dalton.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Rick (Debbie) Mays of Ashland, Doug (Kathy) Mays of Ashland; daughters, Vicky Dalton of Ashland and Belinda Mays of Westwood; sister, Harriet E. Robinson of Lexington; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at STEEN FUNERAL HOME CENTRAL AVENUE CHAPEL with Pastor Rick Mays officiating. Burial will follow in Kirby Flats Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from Noon until 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
