Ralph A. Summer

Ralph Alvin Summer, 75, of Ashland, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

He was born March 19, 1946, in Carrolton, Ohio, a son of the late Mary Ellen Wells Summer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Summer in 2017.

Ralph retired following a long career as a Methodist Minister. He served honorably in the United States Army during Vietnam and was Junior Deacon with Carrollton Grand Lodge 124. Ralph had a vast knowledge of computers. During the early 1970’s he enjoyed driving racecars and was very well known throughout the racing community. Ralph owned and operated a Muffler Shop in Ashland for many years and N Riss Trucking in Louisville, Kentucky from 1979-1984

Survivors include daughters, Christine Marie Summer of Trego, WI, and Mary NoEllen Summer of Ashland; grandchildren, Nola Allen, Nichole Brown, Nicholas Thompson, Michael McCarty, Shyanne McCarty and Ciara Seeman; and five great grandchildren, Jaxon, Vivianna, Marabella, Ayden and Ashler.
