Rebecca Sue Arrington

Rebecca Sue Tucker Arrington “Becky”, 76, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord and her loving husband, Labe Hager Arrington Jr. “Buddy”, of 56 years on March 11, 2021. Becky was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters, Jo Ann Bush and Rita Carolyn Slone, and her husband.

Becky was born on February 26, 1945 to Harold Matthew and Georgia Mae Knox Tucker. Becky graduated from Ashland High School and married Hager on June 28, 1963. Becky and Hager would have one child, Tina Renee Arrington Jones (Jeff) on December 30, 1964, who was the light of their lives. Becky and Hager ran the Arrington store on Blackburn Avenue for decades where Becky loved interacting with her customers and selling her homemade soaps and lotions. Becky and Hager enjoyed a lifetime of shared hobbies including riding motorcycles, traveling, and spending time with their daughter. Becky loved taking care of her garden and her “kitties”.

The family would like to thank Bluegrass Hospice Care, 643 Teton Trail, Frankfort, KY 40601, and Old Orchard Christian Church, 3600 Blackburn Ave. Ashland, KY, 41101, where Becky was a member, for their support and in lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests any donations be made either organization in Becky’s name. A memorial will be held at Old Orchard Christian Church in Ashland, Ky at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
