Rheda Diane Whitt Brown

Rheda Diane Whitt Brown, 79, of Ashland, KY, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 in Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.
She was born June 29, 1939, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Samuel and Katherine Molsberger Whitt.
She was longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Ashland where she spent many years in the Condit Circle. She was also a member of the Summit Homemakers. She was a beloved homemaker and enjoyed her years as a dance instructor at The Dance Studio in Flatwoods, KY.
Throughout their marriage Diane and Roger enjoyed extensive international travel and residency. Following retirement they settled at Lake Barkley for many years and enjoyed precious family time.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 59 years, Roger Brown of Ashland, KY; son, Roger Douglas (Teresa) Brown of Bowling Green, KY; daughter, Melanie Arnold of Mason, OH; brothers, Michael (Diana) Whitt of Russell, KY, and David (Jill) Whitt of Atlanta, GA; sister, Mary Denise (Carl) Edwards of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Andrew (Jill) Brown of Portland, OR, Derek Brown of Portland, OR, Ethan Brown of Nashville, TN, Ryley Arnold of Mason, OH, and Tucker Brown of Russell, KY; two great grandchildren, Homer and Garnet Brown of Portland, OR; and a host of loving extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2019, at the First Presbyterian Church in Ashland with Rev. Julie Rucker Olt officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel
