Richard L. Strosnider

Richard L. Strosnider, 85, formerly of Ashland, KY, passed away on May 26, 2020 at his residence in Groveport, OH. He was born on December 3, 1934 and was preceded in death by his parents William Theodore Strosnider and Ruth Kramer Strosnider Carlyle. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Martin Strosnider in 2019.

Richard was an electrical engineer at Armco Steel and served in the Army reserves. He was a very active member of First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by two daughters Ann Carlyle Strosnider and Lucy Lee Thomson and husband Matthew, all of Groveport, OH; a niece Angela Shearer of Charleston, WV; a nephew John Martin of Kitts Hill, OH; and two great nephews Brek Martin and Christopher Shearer.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel with Reverend Don Young officiating. Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday evening at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM.
