Rickey Jerrold Bryant

Rickey Jerrold Bryant, 65, of Rush, KY, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018. Rick was born December 18, 1952 in Ironton, Ohio, a son of Barbara Sue Moore Bryant of Ashland and the late Harold Willard Bryant.

Rick was a 1971 Graduate of Russell High School. He was a master mechanic and machinist. He worked at Mark West as a Pipeline Technician A and at Big Sandy Power Plant as a Team Leader & Maintenance Supervisor. He was a Kentucky Colonel, an avid deer hunter, outdoorsman and past member of the North Eastern KY Fish & Game Club.

He was a true humanitarian and would lend a hand to anyone in need. He will be remembered as a loyal friend to many and a loving husband, father, son and brother.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife Jamie Colleen Downs Bryant of Rush, son Garrett Shane Bryant of Rush, daughter Jessica Colleen Bryant of Rush, brother Marshall Scott (Leah) Bryant, sister Melinda Ann (John) Hampton of Apopka, FL, sisters & brothers in law Dave and Jerrie Cossett, Jimmie and Nancy Downs, Jonnie Downs and a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration to honor Rick’s life will be held 3:00pm Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Steen Funeral Home 13th St. Chapel by Evangelist Steve Rich.
Friends may call from 1:00-3:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
