Robert Louis Haney

Robert Louis Haney, 64, of Wurtland, Kentucky, died peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at his residence.

He was born January 14, 1958, in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Homer and Barbara Martin Haney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Ramey in 2017.

Robert served honorably in the United States Army and retired following a long career with Kroger’s in Russell.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Theresa Young Haney of Wurtland; daughter, Brandy Haney; two-step sons, Thomas Edward Gamble, Jr. and Joshua Gamble; sister, Vickie Highfield; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022, at STEEN FUNERAL HOME CENTRAL AVENUE CHAPEL. Military graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North East.
