Robert Lee “Jake” Jacobs, 67, of Ashland, died peacefully Friday Morning at his residence.
He was born November 14, 1952, in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of the late Ernest and Frances Nichols Jacobs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Melinda Conley Jacobs; Infant daughter, Elizabeth Jacobs; and a sister, Wilma Dean Lavender.
Robert worked for many years as a truck driver and loved riding his Harley Davidson.
Survivors include brothers, Gene Jacobs of Ashland, Eddie (Brenda) Jacobs of Ashland; sisters, Helen (Willis) Ross of Russell, and Ruby Jacobs of Ironton; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at Buffalo Furnace Cemetery at Greenbo.
