Robert Owen Lowe

Robert Owen Lowe, 81, of Ashland, passed away on May 25, 2019 at the Hospice Care Center. He was born on January 1, 1938 in Ashland to the late Truman and Nina Naugle Lowe.
He was a retired sales representative for Modern Foods and Flav-O-Rich and served in the Army Reserves. He was a member of Second Freewill Baptist Church and was an avid U.K. fan and golfer.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Sonja Kitchen Lowe of Ashland; a son Nathan Lowe of Ashland; a daughter Caitlin Sallie and husband Ryne of Ashland; a brother Edward Lowe and wife Phyllis of Jarrettsville, MD; and granddaughters Natalie Lowe and Evelyn Sallie.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Vernon Cemetery in Decatur Township with Pastor James Lindsey and Bill Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Decatur Township. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel.
