Robert West

Robert West, 73, of Catlettsburg, KY passed away Friday November 20, 2020 at Kings Daughters’ Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 8, 1947 in Ashland, KY to the late Ernest and Bessie Myers West. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Ernest, Bill, Pearl and Jackie West and sister Anna May West.
As a young man, Robert joined the Air Force and was stationed at Polk Air Force Base in North Carolina. He then spent 34 years working for General Motors in both Pontiac and Lake Orion, Michigan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Pearlie West of Catlettsburg, KY, his sons Robert West of Catlettsburg and Michael West of Oxford, MI, his daughter Robin West of Catlettsburg, KY, two grandchildren Emily West and Conner West and one great grandson Alucard West, two sisters Colleen Atkins of Winter Springs, FL and Patricia (Curtis) Livingston of Chesapeake, OH.
A memorial service will be held in the Spring when all his family and friends can be together to celebrate his life.
