Robert Ellis Wilcox

Robert Ellis Wilcox, 84, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Friday evening, March 24, 2023, at Community Hospice Care Center.

He was born in Ashland, Kentucky on August 17, 1938, to the late Frank and Ida Queen Wilcox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, George, Douglas and Frank Donald Wilcox; and two sisters, Betty Wickham and Dianna Blankenship.

Robert was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and most recently was a member of First Baptist Church, Russell. He retired following a long career in sales. He had a wonderful outgoing personality and was a devoted family man.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Donna Webb Wilcox; of Flatwoods; two beloved daughters, Roberta Shore and Brenda (Frank) Daniels of Flatwoods; and two adoring grandsons, David (Stephanie) Shore and Robert (Taylor) Daniels.

Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023, at STEEN FUNERAL HOME CENTRAL AVENUE CHAPEL.
