Rosemary Miranda

Rosemary Miranda, 79, passed away at Wurtland Manor Nursing Home on
February 26, 2019. She was born in Ashland, KY on September 10, 1939 to the late David Sr. and Gladys Ratliff Miranda. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother James Miranda.

She was formerly a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star, White Shrine and a volunteer at KDMC.

Rosemary is survived by a brother David Miranda, Jr. of Ashland, KY; Nieces Cindy Bailey and husband Gordon of Ashland, KY and Mary Ann Miranda Klaene and husband Kristian of Lexington, KY; Great nieces and nephews, Jason Bailey (Renee), Melissa Bailey, Jaime Bullock (Isaac), Chris Adkins (Brooke), Elsa Klaene and Will Klaene; and great great nieces and nephews Landon Bailey, Kyson Bailey, Joelle Bailey, Kamden Bullock, Kayden Bullock, Liam Adkins and Ava Adkins. The family would like to give special thanks to the nursing staff at Wurtland Manor for their excellent care.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel and will be officiated by Chaplain Jimm Smedley.
