Samuel Herman Kassan, 96, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018, in Kingsbrook Life Care Center.
He was born February 4, 1922, in New York City, a son of the late Isidore and Sarah Lippman Kassan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Blankoff Kassan and brother, Max Kassan.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Martin Kassan of Ashland, KY; and a granddaughter, Alexis Ruth Kassan of St. Petersburg, FL.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Flushing, New York.
