Shirley R. Farley Mills

Shirley R. Farley Mills, 87, of Catlettsburg, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Community Hospice Care Center.
She was born August 6, 1930, in Ellison West Virginia; a daughter of the late Josiah and Evelyn Lilly Farley. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, William C. Mills in 2012; son, Michael Mills; daughter, Brenda Joann Mills; brothers, Ora Charles Lemma, Lake, Ernest and  Emerson Farley; and sisters, Glenna Smith and Zenna Jones.
Shirley was the former owner of Sleepy Hollow Silk Screen in Catlettsburg and had worked for Beckley Manufacturing in Beckley, West Virginia, and Hoover Products in Huntington, West Virginia.
Survivors include a brother, Eldon Farley; grandchildren, Jeremy Mills, Douglas Bryan Mills, Amanda Joann Cloonan; great grandchildren, Jeremy Dale Cloonan, Ethan Douglas Mills, Taylor Nicole Cloonan, Madelynn Marie Mills and Alyssa Jane Mills.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Beckley W.Va. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Visitation in Beckley will be from 1 – 2p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
Visitation in Ashland will be on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 3-5p.m. at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel.
