Stella Jane Willis 86, widow of James O. Willis passed away on Thursday, February 18. Stella has
lived in Lawrence County, Ohio for most of her life, and was an active member of the Coal Grove Memorial United Methodist Church where she served as church Treasurer and Church Sunday School Teacher for many years. Stella is the daughter of the late Mabel G. Murdock Fuller and Irvin Rex Fuller. Siblings who also preceded her in passing are Irvin Rex Fuller Il, Audrey M. Fuller and Marcella J. Fuller. Stella's surviving sister is Jean butler, and brother-in-law, Douglas (Karen) Willis.
Graduating from Dawson-Bryant High School in 1951, and working for a time, she married Jim and they moved to Cheyenne while he was in the Air Force. Stella Jane has made a home for her children
whose names are: Kimberly (Mike) Whitman, Victor B. (Debra) Willis, Jim R. (Nazym) Willis, and
Benjamin C. (Shawna) Willis; grandchildren, Kia (Cale) Jensen, Christopher L. (Abi) Willis, Eric J. Willis, Jordan O. Willis, Mary (Scott) Brown, Bekkah (John) Sheetz, Daryn Willis, Ryan M.(Heather)
Whitman, Zachary F. Willis, Summer L Whitman and Abbey G. Willis. In addition to 3 nephews, Don (Patty) Butler, Andrew (Laura) Willis and Matthew (Michele) Willis, and one niece, Sonja Wheelis, Stella has 13 great-grandchildren as well as extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Stella enjoyed singing in the church choir and in the Ashland 3 Arts Club. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution chapter in Ironton and sketched many pictures of her ancestors before cell phones were around to snap pictures.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the Coal Grove Memorial United Methodist Church by Rev. Dr. Vic Willis. Public visitation is at the church from 10 -11 before the service. There will be live streaming on the church's facebook page as well. Steen Funeral Home of Ashland is assisting the family with arrangements.
Burial will follow services in the Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point.
