Susan Jane Holbrook

Susan Jane Holbrook, 91, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility.

She was born April 6, 1927, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Fred and Ethel Ball Faulkner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Lindsay Holbrook in 1991; daughter, Tracie Holbrook in 2011; brothers, Earl, Harry, George and Bob Faulkner; a sister, Ethel Keaton and a son-in-law Lionel Sines.

Susan was a loving mother and grandmother and worked for Second National Bank for many years.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary (Rodger) Webb of Catlettsburg, Linda (Brian) Hicks, Loren Sines and Sandy Holbrook of Ashland; brother, Bill (Greta) Faulkner of Sarasota, FL; sister, Betty (Eulas) Hayes of Ashland; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jackie) Webb, Jamie (Jason Smith) Webb, Jessica (Scott) Evans, Jason (Blaire) Hicks, Jared Hicks, and Sean Sines; great grandchildren, Avery Webb, Eden Smith, Grahm Smith, Samuel Webb, Wyatt Webb, Bella Webb, Wiley Evans and Lincoln Evans; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2018, at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel by Pastor Frank Tate. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
