Tara Michelle Forte Holbrook 45, of Rosharon, Texas, formerly of Ashland, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018, following an automobile accident.
She was born December 22, 1972, in Macon, Georgia, the youngest child of Robert Warren and Patricia Ferrell Forte of Ashland.
Tara was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ashland. She was a 1990 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School, where she was a cheerleader, ran track and was a member of the basketball team.
She was Director of Revenue Cycling Management for AMD Global, AMD Asset Holdings and AMD Healthcare. She loved animals passionately and provided a home for her beloved Belgian sheepdogs.
Tara loved fiercely. She was a fun and loyal friend with an infectious smile. Her memory will live on and shine brightly in the lives she touched.
In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include a brother, Christopher Davis Forte and wife, Peggy Forte of Clarksville, TN; sister, Melissa Bricca and husband, Freddy Bricca of Liberty Township, OH; nieces and nephews, Christian, Lauren and Collin Bricca and Dylan and Landry Forte; two step children, Ashley Oldham and Trevor Holbrook; and a host of loving extended family members and dear friends.
A celebration of Tara's life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2018, at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel with words of comfort provided by Rev. John Street.
Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
