I am saddened to hear about her passing. My first encounter with working with Teresa was at her office. I noticed the large Star Trek poster of the transporter and Spock on the facing wall. I looked at her, did the Spock salute and said. “Live long and prosper.” She looked shocked and repeated the gesture. We laughed from one Trekkie to another. I enjoyed our spirited Star Trek conversations over the years and those I will hold on. My continued prayers to the Lester family.

I worked with Teresa for years at the Office for the Blind. She always a kind word when you saw her or spoke on the phone and a warm smile. She will be missed.

I am so sad to hear of Teresa's passing. I'm so thankful for the time I got to know Teresa through the Office for the Blind. As a new counselor so many years ago she was always my "go to" resource. I knew I could ask her any question and she would have a quick, correct, kind response. Over the years I got to know Teresa through trainings we would attend and I loved hearing her stories. Her life experience always fascinated me and when she started talking about her family or one of her many interests she would become animated and light up. She will be greatly missed.

I had the privilege to call Teresa my friend. She was such a wonderful caring person and she would try her best to do anything in her power to help you. I got to know Teresa and work with her at Office Vocational Rehab/ Office for the Blind for the past 11-12 years. She was a great resource with our agencies and has been greatly missed. We would have many small conversations throughout our busy days here at work and I have missed that soft spoken voice since she retired. Prayers for comfort for Keith and family. Kim and ET Johnson

I'm so blessed to have been able to work with Teresa for my first 10 years with the Office for the Blind. She was an amazing resource. She was was very giving and wonderful to work with. She will be greatly missed.
