Tony Gene Allen

Tony Gene Allen “Butch”, 78, of Wheelersburg, peacefully passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at S.O.M.C. Hospice Center in Portsmouth.

Mr. Allen was born April 15, 1939, in Portsmouth Ohio, a son of the late Daisy Lockhart Williams.

Tony attended Portsmouth High School and served his country in the United States Airforce and also the United States Army. He retired from S.O.C.F. in Lucasville in 2000.

He is survived by his loving wife Judy May Allen of 46 years of Wheelersburg;  a son, Michael (Glenna) Lehn of Garrison, KY; a son, Shawn (Sara) Allen of Missouri; three grandchildren, Brandy (Eric) Billiter of Portsmouth, Brittany (Chris) Moore of Missouri, and Zach Lehn of Garrison; Four Great Grandchildren, Bryson, Mason, Skylehn, and Kamryn Billiter all of Portsmouth; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 28, 2017 at High Praises Church of God, 1712 Harrisonville Ave. Portsmouth, OH. 45662, with the Reverend Johnny Broughton officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time Monday at the Church. Military honors will be provided by the S.O.C.F. honor guard at the conclusion of the service.
