Tracy York

Tracy York, a social worker and resident of Florence, Kentucky, died after a brief illness on Saturday, February 13, 2021.

Tracy was the daughter of the late Ronald Tamme and living mother, Ronda Tamme. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sons, Christopher Long and Matt Long; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; three close cousins; three grandchildren; two sisters and one uncle.

Tracy was born on January 1, 1971. She graduated from Boyd County High School in 1989 and received her bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University in 1998. She was a social worker from 1998 to 2021.

Tracy was a Christian, a devoted daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her grand babies, reading, kayaking, and her 15-year-old dog, Charlie. She will be greatly missed.

A private service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel with Pastor Joed Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
