Tyler Clinton Parsley

Tyler Clinton Parsley, 28, of Scott Depot, West Virginia, formerly of Ashland, KY and Huntington, WV passed away Saturday October 5, 2019 at his residence. Tyler was born February 22, 1991 in Williamson, WV, a son of Melvin and Sandy Chafin Parsley of Scott Depot.
Tyler attended Tug Valley High School. He went on to work in the coal mines at Gary, WV. He then worked in the family business, Parsley Pressure, and on to his own business venture cleaning and maintenance of restaurant hoods. Tyler loved to ride motorcycles and he loved the outdoors.
In addition to his parents Melvin and Sandy, Tyler is also survived by his children Jordan Parsley and Khira Dolly Jean Parsley of Ashland, brother Zachary Melvin Parsley and wife Laura of Ashland, sister Amy Morris and husband Matt of Belfry, KY, nieces Jasmine Chloe Parsley, Taylor Elizabeth Parsley, Kirstin-Shay Hannah Morris, Makylie Brooke Morris, nephew Zachary Jase Parsley, uncle and aunt John and Michelle Parsley of Ashland, his beloved K-9 companion Ulie and a host of extended family and friends that will miss him deeply.
Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Steen Funeral Home, 13th Street Chapel by pastor Walter Marcum. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
