Vicki Lynn Collins Brown, 68, of Ashland, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, in King’s Daughters Medical Center.
She was born July 17, 1951, in Ashland, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Phyllis Ann Collins Wheeler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey David McPeek in 2012; and a brother, Ed Rutherford in 2015.
Vicki was a 1969 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School. She began working at an early age at Mussetter’s Grocery Store and retired following a long career with Kentucky Farmers Bank. She will long be remembered by her kind, gentle spirit and willingness to help anyone in need.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 19 years, Kenneth Brown of Ashland; daughter, Cindy Craig Diamond and husband, Danny of Ashland; beloved grandson, Carter Diamond; a host of extended family members and dear friends; and her beloved dog Suzy Q.
A private service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel with Chaplain Jimm Smedley officiating.
Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
