Walter Stephens Jr.

Walter Stephens Jr. 84, of Winchester , KY formerly of Ashland, KY died Tuesday October 5, 2021 at his residence.
He was born April 15, 1937 in Ashland, the son of the late Walter Sr. and Opal Queen Stephens.
He was retired Machinist from Armco Steel, a member of the Poage Masonic Lodge 325 F & AM, a lifelong Democrat, a Kentucky colonel, member of the American Legion and an avid golfer.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Jean Stephens.
Survivors include four children, Jane (Mark) Walker of Winchester, KY, Beth (Chris) Sligh of Winchester, KY, Joanna (Bram) Clarke of Winchester, KY and Walter (Tammy) Stephens III of Isamorada, FL; one brother, Neil (Dottie) Stephens of Georgetown, KY; one sister, Doris Holland of Ashland; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Chelsea, Amy, Taylor, Jett, Jennifer, Julianna, Wilson and one great grandchild, Lydia.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM Sunday October10, 2021 at the STEEN FUNERAL HOME 13TH STREET CHAPEL.
