William Ronald “Ron” Lawson, 66, of Ashland, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at Kingsbrook in Ashland. Ron was born February 17, 1954 in Ashland, a son of the late William M. and Elizabeth Lorraine Webb Lawson.
Ron was a 1972 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in specialized study from Ohio University. He served as an instructional assistant in the computer and technology department at Boyd County High School for many years. He served his country honorably with the United States Army and loved to play cards and spend time with his family. He will be deeply missed.
Ron is survived by his sister Constance Darlene Reffitt of Ashland, his brother Donald Martin Lawson of Ashland, several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Private graveside services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family due to the ongoing regulations of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
