William D. (Danny) Estep, 74, of Ashland, KY passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Hospice Care Center. He was born on January 30, 1947 in Ashland, KY to the late William M. and Annis Day Estep.
He was a graduate of Paul Blazer High School and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after graduation. He went on to work many jobs and was hired to Armco Steel where he was in the T & L Department and retired after many years as an engine operator. He loved life, his family and was always willing to help someone in need. He was an avid muscle car enthusiast and enjoyed taking his 1974 Nova to cruise ins.
Danny is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of 56 years Terri Griggs Estep, his sons Bryan Daniel Estep of Ashland, KY and William Travis Estep (Cammie Kersey) of Boyd Co. KY, a brother Keith Estep of Ashland, KY and grandchildren William Cody Estep, Bryanna Danielle (Adam) McHenry and Tyler Morrison.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 1:00 at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum and will be officiated by Chaplain Jimm Smedley. Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery. Visitation will be held at STEEN FUNERAL HOME-CENTRAL AVENUE CHAPEL on Monday from 11:00 AM until 12:45.
