Staff Sergeant Joshua Tucker United States Army, 33 of Clarksville, Tennessee, the husband of Julia Hoff Tucker, was born June 20, 1978 in Huntington, West Virginia, the son of Charlotte King of Flatwoods, Kentucky. He was a 1997 graduate of Paul Blazer High School, Ashland, Kentucky. He was a Christian and attended Apostolic Life Cathedral in Huntington, West Virginia. He was a career soldier in the United States Army serving one tour of duty in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan. During his life he suffered the death of his wife and the mother of his son Brandon, Crystal Tucker while stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana. He rested this life Sunday February 9, at his home in Clarksville, Tennessee, while stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. In addition to his wife and mother he is held in loving memory by one son Brandon Dylan Wayne Tucker, one step son Jaden VanNest Hoff both of Clarksville, Tennessee and one brother, Robert Stephen Gwinn and two nephews, Donovan and Levi Gwinn all of Flatwoods, Kentucky. He was very well thought of and admired. Oh how he will be missed by his family and friends who when speaking of Josh are found bursting with pride. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel with Pastor Edwin Harper officiating. Tucker of Bentonville, AR. He rested this life Friday, February 10, at his home in Clarksville, Tennessee, while stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. In addition to his father he is held in loving memory by his stepmother, Janice Tucker and stepbrother Eric Tucker. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Irma Tucker of Kenova, WV. In addition to his wife and mother he is held in loving memory by one son Brandon Dylan Wayne Tucker, one step son Jaden VanNest Hoff both of Clarksville, Tennessee and one brother, Robert Stephen Gwinn and two nephews, Donovan and Levi Gwinn all of Flatwoods, Kentucky. He was an awesome son who grew to be a man who loved his wife and children and served his country.
