My mother, Phyllis Ruth Michelson / Orlik was first cousins with Fred. I remember growing up and living in Cincinnati and Norfolk and seeing Freddie, Eddie and Sylvia quite often in the summers. We all lost touch when we moved but i have fond memories of those visits.
Sending heart-felt condolences to your families and may Fred's memories be a blessing to you all.

Fred was a great guy! We went to work for the VA around the same time in 2004, and worked together in HR for 3 years. He always had a smile! He will truly be missed. My deepest condolences for his loved ones.
